BtNotification

BTNotification is a smart watch app for Android that lets you sync between your watch and phone.

BTNotification is first and foremost a BLE scanner—a Bluetooth scanner. You install this on your smartphone or other Android device and it will scan for Bluetooth devices with which you can communicate. This app is particularly focused on smart watches, and it makes it possible to communicate with a smart watch even when other approaches have failed. If you have a watch that did not come with its own software, then this can be a very effective tool.

BTNotification also allows you to bind your smartphone or other device to your Android smart watch. If your watch tracks information like calories burned, kilometers traveled and steps taken, you’ll have access to that information. You can also reset the information as well as create custom configurations, which you can then push from your phone to your smart watch to dictate behaviors.

The app provides a settings panel. The options mentioned above are listed under the Sports category. There is also a Sleep category that lets you set nighttime behavior, set alarms and even force the watch into sleep mode. Settings gives you access to a broad set of configuration options that most watches support. If your watch does not support a particular setting, it will be grayed out. If your watch has special features, they may not necessarily be accessible through this app.

A share feature lets you share information you have collected through various social media platforms you have configured. You can also push your notification bar, SMS service and call service to your watch. This allows you to get updates, such as a missed call or a text message, via your watch.
